Club Travel was established in July 1987 by Wally Gaynor. Wally's philosophy was to always give the client the best deal and this philosophy is still the driving force behind Club Travel today. The company has grown from a single branch to 3 fully owned leisure branches, 6 Corporate offices, 46 Franchises of which 13 are branded and 33 non-branded, as well as 100 Independent consultants.

Club Travel has negotiated fares with the world's leading airlines and has also negotiated preferential rates with other suppliers such as hotels, car hire companies, tour operators etc. These agreements ensure that the company remains true to Wally's philosophy of giving the client the best deal. We also use sophisticated leading edge database search engines to ensure that we provide our clients with the best possible fare for their travel requirements. Club Travel's Employment Equity Plan has been submitted and the company is on target with regard to achieving the company’s goals. Club Travel has implemented an Equity Student Employment Programme which ensures that the company employs previously disadvantaged students after a three-month in-house learnership programme. The Skills Training Programme is run every month and to-date Club Travel has trained more than 200 candidates. Performance Appraisals are done regularly and focuses on enhanced performance and career, as well as personal, development.
