Love to Africa (an initiative run by heart - www.heartglobal.org ) develops morning volunteer experiences for local and international tourists. They are provided with opportunities to get actively involved in community upliftment projects whilst on holiday. Partnering in a constructive, hands-on way, they get to experience the grassroots needs of communities, charitable organisations and local heroes who strive to make a difference to the less fortunate people of South Africa. Whether it’s building a Foodtent, putting up a Community Pole or planting trees in schools or NGOs, tourists are given the opportunity to create meaningful connections with local people, and develop a greater understanding of local cultural, social and environmental issues through hands on volunteer work. Love to Africa also caters for the corporate, group and incentive market in terms of facilitated team build activities within the communities using the above activities.
