Whenever I start planning a trip abroad, the first thing I think is: “What’s the weather like there?” or “When’s the BEST time of year to go?”
Normally it’s straight to Google… kicking up a storm trying to get the answers you’re looking for.
Let’s make it easy for you with this short list of online resources to use when your next holiday is but a seedling and planning your trip is still in its infancy.
Club Travel has a customised online site where you can literally enter ANY destination and get a wealth of information at your fingertips. From visas & attractions, to currency & climate…. It’s all there.
Although this site is still listed as being in its Beta version, it is very helpful in seeing the average temperatures for the last year of a destination.
Just be sure to select the ‘Averages’ button underneath the search bar to access the relevant information.
From there you will be able to gauge when the best time of year would be to visit.
For those of you who simply know you want to go somewhere hot & sunny (or cold & snowy), but have no idea where to go – this site does the thinking for you!
You enter the month you want to travel, your choice of continent (optional) and your preferred range of average temperatures, and “The Best Time To Visit” will kick out the most likely places for you to consider. It also includes a “Wet Days” column, so you’ll be warned of potential rainy days at your destination.
From there, it’s as simple as finding the best deal to your perfect destination.
